Interact with cabinet ministers

As elected representatives of their ridings, MPs enjoy the enormous privilege of sitting in the House of Commons, Provincial Parliament or Legislatures or House of Assemblies where they have the opportunity to ask questions to other representatives and interact with cabinet ministers and other political staff to promote their portfolios, far more effectively than the average person can.

Committed MPs involved in the fight against contraband tobacco will be active in their role: they will follow up closely on the commitments and progress made by the Ministries of Public Safety and Revenue, the two main ones responsible for this portfolio. They will not hesitate to question ministers or even write cabinet members about specific issues in their riding and inform the electorate about the measures to be taken and plans to be carried out for the region.
